"The bass was very deep yet tight, tuneful, and clean. As you'd expect, the midrange and highs were incredibly well-integrated and sounded point-source versus multi-driver speakers. Bravo! As for imaging and soundscape, once again this was one of the very best setups here at FLAX 2023.

It's hard to imagine a more musical DAC in its price. I didn't think the Amber 4 would perform as well as it did. I didn't realize how much sound quality was lying untapped in my rig, but that's what great products do. They improve upon the component they replace and reveal the quality that was hidden in your other components all along.

Oh my, was the Sinope USB cable’s bass performance actually better than the Jorma AES cable? All it took was one quick switch back to the AES input to confirm what I already felt in my toes: the Sinope is actually fuller and more robust, and indeed meatier than the Jorma. Now, that’s a first!
